I stopped by Pipes by George earlier this afternoon and smoked a bowl of SWRA in my grandfather's Kaywoodie. Bought two estate Sasieni 4 dots while I was there.

St. Bruno Flake in a Peterson System Standard B42. I'm not nearly qualified enough to say whether I think a blend is different than it once was, but the initial couple tins and pouches of St Bruno were much better than the tin I've been struggling through for the last year. I don't think my tastes have changed all that much, if anything I'm smoking more blends with similar tobaccos than I was when I first tried this. Hopefully it's just a bad tin.

I am realizing that about this meer the more I smoke it. Been smoking pipes for 40+ yrs. and am still discovering and appreciating new stuff. Old meerschaum pipes have my attention now ! Thanks Speak Easy! I like the size of your meer billiard also.
