helping get my sister off to her teaching gig in Door County Wisconsin, a neat annual event attended by some of the same people year after year.
Lovely! We live just a couple hours from Door Co. and spend time there not infrequently. I once accepted a career there, but life moved us a different direction before we made the move. I sometimes still regret that.

Dino, out of curiosity, do you travel to New York with the Baker Street Irregulars to New York in January and go to Otto Penzler's store, the Mysterious Bookshop? I'm not a member, but have been shopping at Otto's store for forty years this year and frequently stop by there.
I haven't been to New York City in more than 30 years. Although, when last there, I did indeed visit Otto Penzler's Mysterious Bookshop and purchased some books.
I am involved with Sherlockian societies here in the Chicago area, and contribute articles to The Baker Street Journal, though I am not an invested member of the Baker Street Irregulars. Travel is rather difficult for me, so I stay close to home and smoke my pipes, read my books and listen to music.
