Lovely! We live just a couple hours from Door Co. and spend time there not infrequently. I once accepted a career there, but life moved us a different direction before we made the move. I sometimes still regret that.helping get my sister off to her teaching gig in Door County Wisconsin, a neat annual event attended by some of the same people year after year.

I use a lacquer stick to fill in the stampings. I like the way it looks, and helps my old eyes read what i'm looking at.I noticed some of your pipes have gold lettering. Were they issued that way, or did you fill in the impressions?

I haven't been to New York City in more than 30 years. Although, when last there, I did indeed visit Otto Penzler's Mysterious Bookshop and purchased some books.Dino, out of curiosity, do you travel to New York with the Baker Street Irregulars to New York in January and go to Otto Penzler's store, the Mysterious Bookshop? I'm not a member, but have been shopping at Otto's store for forty years this year and frequently stop by there.
