Did a set of walking reps in the sweltering heat and humidity, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Pipe Force IV (pre-release sample) in the blasted Moonshine. This shit is damn good actually. I went in skeptical of the mish-mash wonkfest of varietals but this blend is heavily oriental and red VA influenced. The latakia presence is merely a whisper, and untraceable at times. Very good stuff. Didn’t report until a couple bowls in case I was crazy. Reminiscent of Uno, but with even less latakia and a much bolder VA presence. Great outta the gate.

Starting to Get Obsessed
Much of May's smoking is a continuation of April: Englishes and Balkans to see what cracks the starting lineup.

Current standings:
  1. Quiet Nights (Pease)
  2. Cambridge Flake (Peretti)
  3. Royal Blend (Peretti)
  4. Balkan Supreme (Arango)
  5. Tashkent (Peretti)
  6. Chelsea Morning (Pease)
Added Maltese Falcon (Pease) and Meridian (Pease) to the league (grades are incomplete for these).

Also jumping into sampling some Virginias (aros and straights) - The Virginia Cream (Pease) is getting better. Found a two-year-old tin of Virginia Flake (MacBaren) at the local shop (I like it). Conversely, bought a two-month-old time of Union Square (Pease) (it's aging some more). And finally, I have some Peretti Black Virginia on order.
