Found a large chunky nail while litter picking; going to save it to use as a pipe tamper.
Going to Buxton Crescent for a guided tour; might get some loose sweets & pipe baccy while I'm there.

Did a set of walking reps in the sweltering heat and humidity, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Dan Tobacco „Midnight Rider“ in my homemade „Duke“-like pipe. Orientals with a bit of Latakia.
Pipe Force IV (pre-release sample) in the blasted Moonshine. This shit is damn good actually. I went in skeptical of the mish-mash wonkfest of varietals but this blend is heavily oriental and red VA influenced. The latakia presence is merely a whisper, and untraceable at times. Very good stuff. Didn’t report until a couple bowls in case I was crazy. Reminiscent of Uno, but with even less latakia and a much bolder VA presence. Great outta the gate.

Also jumping into sampling some Virginias (aros and straights) - The Virginia Cream (Pease) is getting better. Found a two-year-old tin of Virginia Flake (MacBaren) at the local shop (I like it). Conversely, bought a two-month-old time of Union Square (Pease) (it's aging some more). And finally, I have some Peretti Black Virginia on order.
