Did a second set of walking reps, and am close to smoking year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking 1980s Von Eicken’s Dark Flake Navy Cut in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Going to post the review at TR after I post this smoke.

Pipe Force IV (pre-release sample) in the blasted Moonshine. This shit is damn good actually. I went in skeptical of the mish-mash wonkfest of varietals but this blend is heavily oriental and red VA influenced. The latakia presence is merely a whisper, and untraceable at times. Very good stuff. Didn’t report until a couple bowls in case I was crazy. Reminiscent of Uno, but with even less latakia and a much bolder VA presence. Great outta the gate.

Thanks for this mini review.
I wasn’t even thinking about trying the pipe force blends but I really like oriental forward blends and Uno is a big favorite of mine (I wish I’d bought more - I’ve smoked 3/5 tins)

I will definitely be picking up some Pipe Force IV now.

Smoking my third bowl of Half and Half from a new tub in an MM Marcus with a 3” stem. I hadn’t smoked any of this blend for 40 years, so I thought it was time to revisit it, in spite of the fairly negative reviews.
The tobacco has very little if any PG and the “spices” have a nice aroma. No tongue bite and tastes great with coffee. STG has done a good job with this and it’s likely the only OTC that I will smoke. Carry on……

Now smoking Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. A friend just gave me two more pounds of this wonderful blend.
