No pipe today. I'm smoking too much forest fire to add to the fumar. Cough, hack! Another red flag windy day. I can't imagine how disheartening this weather must be for all the firefighters. Last night it was a home mix of Sir Walter Raleigh regular, D&R Two-Timer, and PS black Cavendish, in a once-unfinished Savinelli bent Dublin (a 920 I think, though it isn't stamped). Like many home-mixes, it was better than many standard blends. The pipe has colored nicely over the years, darkened though not yet shiny. Others of mine have gotten a real polish without wax or any polish, though lots of hand buffing.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of KBV Acadian Flek beta test in a 2003 smooth three quarter bend Rinaldo Fiammata Odissea Titania 02 Silver Line 3 Straight Grain egg with a black acrylic tapered stem. The Braves-Mets game starts after the top of the hour. They're playing a double header today. I'll put the game on pause when I do my second set of walking reps so I won't miss anything. Time to brew some Gold Star Kona Extra Fancy coffee.

Thank John. NM currently has several big fires, charring thousands of acres of beautiful forests, and hundreds of human homes. I don't want to think of all the birds and animals that are dying. Breaks my heart. I salute the firefighters who are trying so hard to control these raging blazes.
