Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and asparagus dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm approaching the half way mark on this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

I've noticed you have catfish somewhat often... Is it fried? Fried catfish and okra was one of my Grandmother's specialties. I miss her and her catfish a lot. Of course, catfish can be delicious cooked a number of ways other than fried, but that's my favorite.

M'lady bakes it. I very seldom eat fried foods, and not at all since I started on this diet.
Just finished smoking Peretti Cuban Mixture in a 2016 straight smooth dark brown Peterson Sportsman 87 apple with a nickel cap military mount and a tapered black acrylic fishtail stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
I am not a fan of Latakia. Can stand it in small quantities though. Although, it is substantial in this blend i was not turned down. So far had it in my clay pipe and a cob, need to try it a few more times in briar. Who knows may be it will taste somewhat differently. So far it OK. Smoking Pipes had it on sale until May 11th but I did not get another tin of Black, which means I am not absolutely in love with the blend.
