Time for another WAYS tobacco mini review!

I'm smoking Amphora Virginia Blend in a freshly cleaned basket Billiard. This stuff I've been wanting to try for awhile as I hunt for good available daily smokes. So far I'm not disappointed. This isn't a complex smoke, just a plain Jane Virginia blend, pressed and cut into a nice chunky ready rub. Mildly sweet, with a musty hay note. Not a lot of frills here, and it's a bit more on the rough side, probably very lightly cased; just enough to take off most of the edge. This is a Mac Baren tobacco, just a little less refined to fit the Amphora price point. This is not necessary a complaint. Nose-wise the smoke is gentle with only a little sting in the nasal passage and it's here that the sweetness of the Virginia is most noticeable. If I were to describe this smoke I'd say it reminds me of doing chores on the farm. A bit of sweat and blood, but you know you're going to eat good later.

Oh! And the nic-hit is definitely there! I'd recommend this blend to anyone looking for a no-frills all day smoke at an affordable price.
