Pegasus!!!
Shhhhhhh🤫 you’ll conjur up @didimauw 😂
Pegasus is great and @didimauw ’s love for it has me keeping a few tins around. Try some HU Makhuwa and Bob’s Chocolate Flake too for the Cocoa both totally different but both are excellent as well.
Makhuwa has perique but I don’t find it overwhelming .
Next guy to say Pegasus is a great blend, gets banned.
It's garbage. Everyone stay away.

Oh my goodness! What a pipe! I just bought a new little meer that is based on a bulldog design I think. It's going to be my new "if I need to take one pipe with me somewhere that isn't a cob" pipe that meers are so good for. The metalwork on that pipe is amazing! And OJK is also one of the best blends. I take it with me almost everywhere I go hahaha.

I haven't tried Makhuwa yet! I've only tried Director's Cut from HU so far. I should grab some. I do love both the SG Chocolate Flake and the Bob's Chocolate Flake, but I haven't had Bob's in a long time. The batch I've got has been sitting for a few years. Now should be a good time to dip in! Haha, is conjuring up @didimauw tantamount to necromancy? If so, let's do it! I love that sort of thing.
I'm like a genie, but.....

Better.

Smoking now the 2nd variation of my own cigar blend, in a corn cob. I have passed the middle of the total sum of pieces in the Corn Cobs phase in my pipe rotation.
The grey thing at the top left corner of the photo, with the white lines that form a kind of labyrinth, exists not on my desk and is a proof of paranormal activity!
Keep walking good people...

I'm interested in trying Pu'erh tea as well. Do you have any recommendations for a first timer?
I discovered Pu’erh tea at a local tea shop when they had some brewed up for customers to try. If you have a local tea store, that would be a great place to start. If not, there are many offerings on line.
You could get some ripe Pu’erh packaged in tea bags or a couple ounces of loose leaf.
Here is a good article on types of Pu’erh.
I usually buy a pound of it loose from Davidson Tea. I buy the small pressed cakes from a local Herb and Tea store like the one I posted yesterday.
Numi brand makes good tea as well.

Thanks! Some of the pipes from that era are really over the top with ornamentation. I would probably smoke a lot less without OJK.

Sutliff 507-C loaded up in the Barontini 1/2 Spigot bent billiard with 9mm filter (20mmx52mm chamber). This was a most of the day smoke for me. Part of proof of my childhood was taken away today. My neighbor had three huge Silver Beech trees, 80-110 ft tall, cut down today as they were in danger of falling down on his house. One of those trees had a heart carved into it with my initials and the initials of the girl who lived there previously who used to babysit me in the afternoons after she got out of school. My neighbor told me it was still there but about 30 feet or more higher. I carved it when I was about 4 or 5 yrs old believe it or not. Still .... a pleasant memory.
If it were me, I'd beg the section of the trunk with the carving on it, and maybe use it as a chopping-board for tobacco. Or a paperweight. Or both.
