Pegasus!!!
Shhhhhhh🤫 you’ll conjur up @didimauw 😂
Pegasus is great and @didimauw ’s love for it has me keeping a few tins around. Try some HU Makhuwa and Bob’s Chocolate Flake too for the Cocoa both totally different but both are excellent as well.
Makhuwa has perique but I don’t find it overwhelming .
I’m getting some!

I haven't tried Makhuwa yet! I've only tried Director's Cut from HU so far. I should grab some. I do love both the SG Chocolate Flake and the Bob's Chocolate Flake, but I haven't had Bob's in a long time. The batch I've got has been sitting for a few years. Now should be a good time to dip in! Haha, is conjuring up @didimauw tantamount to necromancy? If so, let's do it! I love that sort of thing.

You should! To me, Pegasus is like the ultimate untopped codger blend. Not too strong, not too bold but also not too mild and with just enough nicotine--everything in the right proportions. It's perfect for when I don't want perique in my burley blends (e.g. Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe, etc.). And it's dirt cheap in bulk hahahaha.

Got one of those as a gift and really like how it feels in hand and it smokes nicely. puffy

I’m glad I got one. It’s got a decent sized chamber and I like the simulated fumed look. I also like that it was designed in a collaboration between Missouri Meerschaum and TobaccoPipe’s Jake McKenna, the artist who did the Sutliff Birds of a Feather tin art—I thought about having one of those blends in the pipe, but opted for the KBV.

Sutliff 507-C loaded up in the Barontini 1/2 Spigot bent billiard with 9mm filter (20mmx52mm chamber). This was a most of the day smoke for me. Part of proof of my childhood was taken away today. My neighbor had three huge Silver Beech trees, 80-110 ft tall, cut down today as they were in danger of falling down on his house. One of those trees had a heart carved into it with my initials and the initials of the girl who lived there previously who used to babysit me in the afternoons after she got out of school. My neighbor told me it was still there but about 30 feet or more higher. I carved it when I was about 4 or 5 yrs old believe it or not. Still .... a pleasant memory.

Any chance of cutting out the section with the carving and making a pipe stand out of it?

Thanks @MisterDearly , sounds like it’s right up my alley, love codger and a nice nic-hit too, maybe throw a pipe in with my order 😝
