C&D has a couple of blending burleys you should check out.

You're not the first person to tell me I should try C&D's blending burleys, I think you might actually be the fourth or fifth, so I'll finally begrudgingly pick up some C&D white burley and dark burley to try next week. I'm not usually much of a C&D fan on account of how harsh I find most of their blends, but so many people have recommended their plain blending burleys that it's probably time I give them a try.

Kendal #7 in the Briarlee at my grandson’s birthday party, right before I got told it’s a “no smoking” property (public park).
Oh well…

Theres probably worse things that go on in public parks rather than good old pipe smoking spending time with family. The world we live in☹️

I'd love to get a Morta pipe, but there just don't seem to be many I can find anywhere at the moment! I have seen these on eBay. So, is this a good pipe? Should I go for it?

Moretti (Italy) markets mortas regularly on ebay and makes a quality pipe. Speaking of which, i haven't pulled mine out in a few weeks.

I have a few mortas.
It’s just a different material - but cool to have a pipe made from material that is several thousands of years old.

Moretti (Marco Biagini) has his own website and also sells through EBay and LePipe.it
They are good starting level pipes.
Marco is a gentleman and responds quickly to enquiries.
If you don’t see any that catches your fancy, he will be happy to make one for you.

Mimmo Provenzano and Il Duca are 2 more Italian makers of mortas

Davorin Denovic is well-.known for his mortas.
Altinok also carries his pipes

Lots of other makers - DotterPipes, Chris Askwith, Reiner Thilo, Scottie Piersel, Manduela to name a few.

There is a morta thread as well as a Moretti thread in the “Show us your ……. Pipes” section
Look through them to see if any catches your eye
