We got sucked in and ended up watching bizarre, compelling, murder cases on Dateline until 6:00 in the morning. Overslept and were thankfully awakened with a phone call by our friend a little while ago. Missed the beginning of UFC Fight Night, but now watching it. Going to have Cornell & Diehl Small Batch Folklore (2022, 805/1000) in an unbranded, unmarked, Magnum-sized Swan Neck LC (Large Curve) with a horn stem with an orific bit; this pipe is most likely French in origin, and may be from the late 19th or early 20th Century—it is curve drilled, has a bone tenon, and a cork mortise.

New month already, time is flying by. Today feels like winter isn’t far away, dark, cool and heavy skies with light rain, nearly pitch black here at 6.30am so it’s coming. Smoking some Opening Night in a Virgin Castello #33 in the gloom.
Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple for lunch. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Beautiful picture.Just popped this tin from 1999. I’ve never tried #24 before. It’s a really nice blend. Bit richer and less sweet than #27. Gonna have to try it in a few of my filtered pipes.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
