Going to have Esoterica Tobacciana Scarborough in a Savinelli Autograph Bent Apple with marbled acrylic stem (Grade/Gruppo 0). I fell in love with the simple, chubby, bulging lines of this pipe and the little bit of plateau on the shank face. I was ogling it for months and eventually pulled the trigger during IPSD week.
I started my day this morning with C&D Pegasus in the Morgan Bones Milan, which may have been a mistake since it really gave me a sore throat for the rest of the day, but since then I've just been smoking Orlik Golden Sliced in a few different pipes to work on my flake folding and stuffing technique. I don't know what it is about the spring, but it seems like as soon as the temperatures hit 60°F all I want to smoke is Golden Sliced.
This past afternoon was another bizarrely warm and sunny one, with temperatures in the 60s, prompting me to grab my pipe, tobacco, crossword and pup and go out to the backyard. I filled my Chamersburg Morta pipe with Wilke No. 524 with Syrian Latakia. I puffed contentedly, solve my puzzle, while the pup and I basked in the sun.
Been too busy with various things to post smokes, but my last one of the day is 2017 Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut in a 2016 Peretti's M.T. Natural made in Holland straight smooth brown Algerian briar billiard with a tapered black acrylic stem.
