Just finished smoking year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Had a long, very enjoyable chat with the first friend I made in life. Haven't spoken to her in years, but it was just like no time passed.

The Lower Forty of Hill Country
Super Value Bourbon Whiskey in an E.A. Carey estate apple. This is my first smoke in this pipe (based upon Briar Lee's recommendation), and I must say that I enjoyed it! This pipe came in a bundle with two Falcons which I wanted, and I dismissed the Carey as a "gadget pipe," and so put it away in a drawer for over 10 years. I dug it out after reading Briar Lee's thread regarding them, and I must say that he was right: they do deliver a good smoke (at least in my opinion).
