Nothing specialHow do you like it?
@halfdan ,@Fralphog I'd like to see some photos of your sheep & lambs; which breed are they???
@Fralphog Never heard of this breed before! Sounds like a USA equivalent of the Wiltshire Horn, another naturally shedding breed:@halfdan ,
They are Katahdins, a hair bread, developed by a breeder in Maine,USA. They provide excellent meat lambs. Because they are a hair breed, there is no shearing or tail docking. All of this makes for a low maintenance sheep breed that provides excellent meat.
I will post a picture of this years lambs.
Here’s Esther (brown) and Deborah From last year.

Virginia seems to be a good choice. Is there any other Amphora product worth trying? For example, English?I tried Amphora Virginia in a cob this morning. It is a real tasty Virginia blend.
