Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.

Brown #4 cut into thin coins with a cigar cutter, dried overnight and stacked in a clay.View attachment 211859
@FurCoat Nice pipe and good tobacco choice. Going out for a pint and a clay this afternoon; getting ready for England vs New Zealand with @Ahi Ka. Redcoat vs Island Boy (he isn't a Maori but is interested in their language). Got a pipeful of twist dried out but feel it might be a bit fine and burn too hot, yet straight from the pouch it can be a bit wet... Need to get it right for the smoke-off! Will log my start / end times on the forum!

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style.
