Missed Monday night's smoke.
Last night, lit up the 1975 Dunhill LBS, F/T that I had packed for Monday's smoke, with Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls, great smoke too.
Moved to P Grade James Upshall, Dublin F?T stem, with Three Nuns F&S and rubbed out to fill the bowl.
Norm's was keeping me company, he was busy foraging for treats in an old slipper, then decided that he wanted to sit in my chair and have a sleep.

IMO, Campaign is just OK. Contra the reviews, I think Astley's 44 is by far the better dark flake. YMMV.

Sure is. Its one of my favorite pipes i have.

I never got to break in my Savinelli 2022 Saint Nicholas 616. Once the weather breaks, I intend on remedying the issue.

Glad the 614 smokes well for you. I debated between the two.

I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Time to check on the ferals.

@ThermionicScott Nice pipe - I like the classic clay pipe shape. Looks a very short stem on it! I don't recommend cleaning clay pipes in the oven as you can't get rid of the smell of stale baccy or the residue...

Thanks, Dan! It originally started out longer, but it fell out of my pipe rack and about 2" snapped off the end. So I filed the end flat and wrapped it with electrical tape for a little padding, and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Good thing I was living in an apartment the last time I cleaned it in an oven, eh?

First time trying a mix of a dried out old stuff, navy flake and hobbits weed, rehydrated for a few days by sitting in an airtight container with a capful of cheap whiskey.

Not sure if this is a failed experiment or not… It probably smokes hotter than if I’d left it dry, but it is tasty!

Just finished some 4noggins Catamount. (Part of their Aromatics sampler) Smoked in a Blatter and Blatter tomato with one star. Not a bad smoke - I rate it a 3 on 4.
