First bowl of today is Peterson My Mixture 965 in a Savinelli Lovat 703ks. William Wallace in the background. Beautiful spring morning here in the Scottish Borders.

Half way through this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Persevering with this tub of Granger. This time VERY dry. Not unpleasant, but not as satisfying as Sutliff RR. Smoked in an MM Marcus with a 3 1/4” stem as I don’t favor nose warmers. Happy weekend, all.

He is indeed and one of the modern greats. I’m very lucky that my full time job is playing Scottish Music a combination of playing and teaching which is nice.
