Janus in Peterson SH Mycroft. GEC23. A bit of moisture. I think I didn't dry it enough. But didn't interfere too much with smoke. OK, it bothered the crap out of me and used 3 cleaners during the smoke.

Hayes did beautiful work and he sold me this pipe the last hour of the TAPS pipe show for a price I couldn't refuse. I thought I was hallucinating.

It wasn't that wet, but I could feel the moisture build up and smoke turning harsh. I usually take the pipe apart mid smoke to dry out my pipes. Not much of anything comes out, but makes me feel better and notice improvement in smoke quality. Do that with all pipes, even cobs.

My first outdoor smoke (I’ve mostly been in my shed on weekends this winter. Typically I don’t get to smoke much in winter but with COVID slowing the pace of life in general I’ve really enjoyed weekend smokes) of the season - ‘07 Embarcadero in an awesome Jack Howell Rhodesian. Sunny, low 50s with a gentle breeze. Bliss. Listening to the soundtrack from the movie Chef - a great movie for cuisine lovers and killer soundtrack.
