First smoke of the month was PSLNF in an Al Pascia meer, as I enjoyed the extended twilight with wifey and the mustang aka grass hooverer. 9.3/10

Bird report: Mountain chickadee, House finch, California towhee, California quail, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, American crow, Hairy woodpecker, Northern flicker, and Mourning dove.

Also celebrating the memory of my maternal grandmother, who would've turned 102 today.

Smoking my first bowl of Lane 1q. It tastes like a toaster strudel or pop tart or something. Super familiar but I can’t exactly put my finger on it.

It just hit me as I was about to post this, it’s fig newtons. It tastes exactly like fig newtons.

Edit: I think it is molasses actually.

Believe it or not, I'm smoking Iwan Ries Three Star Banner light in a Ser Jacopo Maxima. To me, this tastes like a Lane aromatic, with a slightly different vanilla flavor. This is a good one to smoke around non smokers, for sure. To be clear, it's not bad.
