Passing the half way mark of this bowl of Per G. Jensen Blender’s Collection Dark Fired Kentucky in a small 1982 three quarter bend unbranded meer with a smiling turbaned Turk's head and a tapered yellow acrylic stem. Reviewing it, too.

Getting ready to watch UFC 303, Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Procházka. It was originally supposed to be Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler, but McGregor broke his pinky toe and had to cancel. Having Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding in a Briar, Sweat, and Tears (BST) Large Curve (LC) Swan Neck 3/4 Bent Billiard.

I know @Humblepipe won’t be able to watch until tomorrow.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Something Something Something with Something in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow acrylic stem. Working on a review of this upcoming blend, and that's all I can say about it. The pitching duel in the Braves-Pirates game is as I expected.

I just finished a relatively short visit with my Saturday ZOOM buddies (I have a 21st. birthday party for my great-grand niece to attend later this afternoon).
I smoked a bowl of 1970s Edward G. Robinson Pipe Blend in my GBD Militaire 357 prince. A tumbler of Peach/Mango Green Tea with a fistful of bergs and a splash of Honey Jack, from a newly opened bottle, was my beverage.

Today I smoked Mac Baren Classic Roll Cake, HU Tobacco Indaba, Vauen No. 7 Crunchy Blend, Samuel Gawith Palace Gate and Lakeland Dark. Lakeland Dark in a MM Rob Roy and the rest in the Altinay.

Indaba and both the Samuel Gawith blends were new to me and I really enjoyed all of them. I get the urge to jar the Lakeland Dark and save it for Christmas. The first few years after I started pipe smoking I used to smoke Revor Plug and Mick McQuaid Plug around Christmas time but I can't get a hold of those anymore and haven't really found a replacement that feels right yet but this was the closest to giving me that feeling, although not really similar in flavor.

Today I smoked a bowl of half and half and half (I mixed in a generous pinch of my home-made cherry blend with Half & Half). I smoked it in a 1950s Kaywoodie smooth apple Superburl model 33. I’m working my way through a long list of OTC blends from yesteryear based on cans and pouches I found at my dad’s place after he passed away. It’s a fun process and I can see why so many of these easy smoking blends are still available today.half and half and half.jpg
