Today some 2011 Stanwell Melange in a Gefapip 2500 billiard with iced decaf. When I first opened this a couple years ago, it was pretty wet still and wasn't sure what to make of it. Jarred it up and put it away. Now moisture is just right, easy to light and the aro flavor is softer. Not bad at all.

Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with lots of raisins thrown in, and a golden delicious apple on the side for lunch. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of Per G. Jensen Blender’s Collection Virginia in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth octagonal paneled billiard meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend. Cleaned a few pipes, fed Sleepy Suzy, and am set to watch what may be a pitcher's duel between the Braves and Pirates.
Just starting a bowl of C&D Bright Virginia in an Eltang Basic paired with a new-to-me lighter. The lighter, as far as I can tell from the interwebs is Sterling Silver plated, from the 1940's and made in the Netherlands. Got it at a local antique shop yesterday and cleaned it up and threw my Zippo pipe insert into it.
The morning started out good. Tended the garden while smoking WCC ACP in some yard cobs.
Not today there wasn't. It's an amusing little game though. Someday, I'll do a blindfold test with the same pipe and will report back.
Then things took a turn for the worst. Wife came home from breakfast with the girls to inform me that the battery light was on. Damn alternator took a crap. Honda Accord V6. Four hours and 4 hundred dollars but it's good now. Amazing amount of s%$t had to be removed to get that thing out of the car and let me tell you it is hot outside. I was able to enjoy some WCC ACP between my tirades and fits of anger.
Now I'm back in the garden picking some beans and broccoli for tonight's dinner. I just want to get out of this damn heat. Smoking WCC ACP.
