Part way through this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. This should get me to dinner time.
Had a few bowls in the SMS meer today, first Dan Tobacco S.V.H. Then The Mallard followed by HU Tobacco Night Owl and then Louisiana Broken. Now I'm finishing the day off with a bowl of Ennerdale watching the moon, large and yellow dancing with dark, pretty clouds.
The Mallard and Night Owl were new to me. I enjoyed Night Owl a lot but my first impression of The Mallard wasn't very exciting.

It was nicer until I broke it. Thankfully it was a pretty clean break at the shank, so I was able to glue it back together. Still smokes well, and has plenty of character too.
