Having Smoky Air in New York. The normal Air Quality Index is 35 to 50 this time of year—at 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm today, the AQI hit 484 (hazardous levels); the index tops out at 500!

This was the World Trade Center after 2:00 pm. The sun is to the right of the antenna.

In all my years in New York, I’ve never witnessed the air being like this.

I read this is due to Canadian wild fires.

At first I thought NY has smog issues.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Hitting the hot tub with some HU Dockworker in my CAO pool meer and an extra large 1792 Bourbon and soda with a sugar free red bull on the side. It's been a friggin' long past few weeks but I can now, fingers crossed, see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Nice day in the land of the apocalypse. Started the day with a work call in the backyard with some black coffee and HH Burely Flake in my prized natural Smithhouse bulldog. It was a Christmas present from my girlfriend who I plan to keep after this nice gift. IMG_3072.jpeg

Tonight I moved to more of my 2014 Dunhill Elizabethan packed in a 3 Dot Bringham billiard. This was the second pipe I ever bought and a workhorse for me. Had my daughter in the beautiful countryside at riding lessons. While the raging fires here in Canada are obviously No Bueno, it does make for some incredible sunsets!

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and almost a third of the way through this bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Going to work now.
