A third of a bowl left of C&D Virginia Gentleman in a straight smooth dark brown pre-1940s Comoy’s Jost’s Olde English Supreme J299 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The black cat was here and got food and plenty of attention although he seemed a little tentative at times. He sure seems like a good cat. Daisy and Tomato were not amused.
Did a bit of snacking, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of C&D Derringer in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 399 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Now this, is someone that deserves a smoke, in his name!
And, what better, than naturally, 2020 C&D Sun Bear, in a 1901 Sam McLardy & Co. Meerschaum with a vulcanite stem.
So here’s to @Maynard58 and I guess the bear too, as long as he behaves! LOL

Just finished smoking Wilke No. 24 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello-Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
Now smoking Wilke Gentry Royal Blend No. 2 in a black sandblast quarter bend undated Briarcraft (Dr. Grabow made) Wimbledon 810 author with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Morning smoke of Amphora Original Brown in a Dunhill Bruyer 111 F/T groupe 3 medium billiard anno 1972
Last smoke of the day is Watch City Mistletoe Jam (Christmas 2022) in a very small, slight bent black sandblasted Smokers Forum.UK 2015 POTY Chris Askwith Prince 5 with a tapered black acrylic stem with a flared bit. Still have a couple of things to do before bed time.

Regent Street again while walking to Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. This is the first Roman church (304AD) where the Pope is bishop, Lateran was the Papal residence until Middle Ages. Had Scala Santa- steps Jesus walked up to meet Pontius Pilat and has his blood. One cannot touch the steps and can ascend upon the wooden cover only on their knees.

I am smoking my meerschaum with RLP-6 and some Cherry.
McConnell Mature VA this morning from an unbranded lovat. 
Yesterday, Lane 1-Q in the Barontini 1/2 spigot while driving to an appointment and errands and back. starting gagging and coughing because of the canadian wildfire smoke. I've never been to the middle ages but this seems to be how they depict it on T.V. ... smoky haze everywhere drifting by. There are particulates in it that make you gag. If I go out today I will be wearing a mask. The dust is a yellowish//orange ... that can't be good. The sunlight shines orange in the woods. Big warning tell : None of the animals were out ... no birds, deer, chipmunks, etc. ... all burroughed away somewhere ... soundless and quiet ... eerie !! The Lane was good while it lasted but the air was too thick to really enjoy for long. Hopefully it will move out by tonight with some wind and rain.
Smoking Regent Street on another long walk to Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore. The crib that Jesus slept in is a relic. Tombs of Popes and Bernini.
Haha…that method would bring much different results in the humid climate of Michigan!
