Relaxing after a wonderful salad, steel head trout and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Watching the Yankees-Mets game while the Braves-Tigers are in a rain delay. I kind of doubt they'll play, but since I wrote that, the rain will stop, and they'll be on field before long.

Love the contrast on that! The blast reminds me of the cool blasts on my two Finlays - which is a teaser because a new @doug535 arrives tomorrow! He also was kind enough to offer to solve my stem problem on my Ireland Meer which I’m dying to have back here and which will also arrive tomorrow. Full reports to come.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Fresh(ish) capstan blue with a scotch ale. I’ve got 19 more tins which I plan to crack at year intervals—Lord willing.

A good alternative to Pure Virginia when looking for something with a bit more bass or darker notes, although lacking the toasty sweet hay flavor I’ve come to love in FV.

Passing the first third of this bowl of year 2015 H&H Viprati in a 2000s brown quarter bend sandblast Pierluigi 140 brandy military mount with a silver cap and a caramel acrylic saddle stem.

This company made great pipes. I have two more that I haven't smoked only because I can't decide what tobacco genres to dedicate them, too. I can be very slow about that.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am off to work with a bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Listening to the Dodgers-White Sox game.
