A truly divine smoking experience this evening has unfolded. 1998 Mcclelland Mature Virginia 27 in the Goussard dub w/ warthog tusk.
I've always enjoyed "warthog" imagery. My birth year of 1983 is that on the Chinese zodiac. Up through the 90s anyway, more often than not it would say "warthog". Nowadays you're more likely to see "pig" instead. I don't like "pig" as much.

PC Match My Mixture 965 in a fully bent smooth pocket pipe by Edwards, their Benton series, stamped as an Iwan Ries house pipe, made of Algerian oil cured briar. This is one of a whole series of house pipes from the 1980's. Current IR house pipes are from the French maker Genod.
Went to my dermatologist yesterday and had some spots frozen off the bridge of my nose. It's sunscreen time. I'm already an absolutist about wearing caps and hats. I thought the spots were from the chafing of Covid masks. Maybe not. Last problem along these lines was about 15 years ago when I had the full dress Moh's surgery, twice over several years. My sun basking days are over.

This Stanwell pot has been neglected for years so I’ve decided it’s going to be my Lakeland briar. Really enjoying a good bit of Kendal Flake from it at the moment.
