@virkia I'd like to fill the large clay pipe with tobacco and see how long it takes to smoke it - I'd probably be puffing on it all day!

I have some 2013 and 2015 LBF jarred up. Quite a bit, that I can’t bring myself to open. Maybe ever. Dunno. Maybe next year. So late last year I ordered up just a couple ounces to just smoke, and I’m finally smoking that very same coin in a little Stanwell No.242, a mini No.11, basically. But the LBF… Is this stuff great, or what?

Previously, Dunhill’s fantastic London Mixture in a proper Stanwell No. 11, blasted, Danish. Who the hell at Pete’s decided this one wasn’t worth keeping? Perhaps they could no longer obtain the tobacco necessary to match the blend. In which case, good on them. Discretion is the better part of valor. And a half-assed blend does the marque, nor the smoker, no justice.

For those who care about such things, my accompaniment is an Old Fashioned made with Michter’s single barrel straight rye. Highly recommended.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cobia and asparagus dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of Motzek (TAK) 16/5 Der Neue in a straight black sandblast late 1990s 2 star Ferndown Bark squashed pot with a tapered cumberland stem. Watching the Braves-Reds game.

I'm on a roll today.
Earlier, I had some Old Gowrie in a Dunhill group 2 prince. Can't get enough of that baccy.
Then, a Tatuaje Black Label. First time, really solid earthy, leathery smoke.
I just had a bowl of Cereal Milk grown by Snaxland in Denver. Cool to see what these strains do in gardens outside of CA.
