I love the p-lip. They are easier for me to clench, and I like the feel of it. You must know that the first two pipes I bought were Dr. Grabow Omegas. They copied the Peterson system pipes, so I was into it immediately as a pipe smoker.I also appreciate that jiminks' cleaning regiment has been uncovered -- but I had another question, which you may have answered elsewhere or before: Do you have thoughts about the p-lip? (I've only just encountered it in the new recent Petersons I bought and I like it, certainly as a change in how tobaccos smoke.)

The company was much better known for their clay pipes including this monster cadger registered with the number 241693 incuse on both sides of the stem.
The design was registered on the 6th October 1894 by Samuel McLardy of 67 Shudehill, Manchester:-
