Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching a Jazz documentary on TCM that I recorded a few days ago.

Gawith Hoggarth Coniston Cut Plug in a Savinelli bent made for, and purchased at, Main Street Cigar in Bel Air, Maryland. Another four, 10 hour day work week coming to a close, then off to a friend’s cabin for the weekend with the wife to celebrate her 40th bday.

I just got another Ornsby Pipe in the mail and it’s a much shorter one than the other two, I wasn’t actually aware that they made different lengths and thought it might have been a replacement but it’s totally kosher. The bowl has seen some action but it’s in great shape and I’m going to run some Merde de Cheval through it for the first smoke. image.jpg

Is that a pretty good blend? I’ve been tempted to try it based on the name alone ?
The only F&K blend I’ve tried is Lancer Slices.
