Did you see my WAYs reply before? Did you post this pipe in PipeTalk, to also give us a blow by blow as you smoke this, so others can get a grasp of what a Strawberry wood pipe is like.

Please do so if haven’t, I and I’m sure others would like to know how Strawberry wood is for a pipe.

Strawberry wood makes a great pipe. They're lighter in weight, therefor I n assume density as well. I was taking it very slow while breaking this is, but at one point I pushed it a little and it never got too hot. I think it's a great wood and look forward to some upcoming commissions. Though, it may not be for everyone - like Morta, meerschaum or any other variety of pipe materials .

I believe there's been some movement at the site of the crack on my meer, so I'm a bit paranoid to use it lately.
Man that’s disappointing to hear.
You going to replace it, turn it into a mantle piece or tee it off with a 3 wood?
