I didn't see a reply from you anywhere, I'm sorry.Did you see my WAYs reply before? Did you post this pipe in PipeTalk, to also give us a blow by blow as you smoke this, so others can get a grasp of what a Strawberry wood pipe is like.
Please do so if haven’t, I and I’m sure others would like to know how Strawberry wood is for a pipe.

Strawberry wood makes a great pipe. They're lighter in weight, therefor I n assume density as well. I was taking it very slow while breaking this is, but at one point I pushed it a little and it never got too hot. I think it's a great wood and look forward to some upcoming commissions. Though, it may not be for everyone - like Morta, meerschaum or any other variety of pipe materials .

Getting ready to try this Qipeng Wei, but I’m just staring at it right now. Never seen grain like this before. I def like birdseye better then straight grain.
I know, his pipes are pretty cheap for artisan work. Check smokers haven. I found this as an estate. “W pipe Co” he is called “The Prince of Birdseye”!
