Afternoon everyone, I’m watching the Olympics at the moment with Half and Half in a BC Cadre Noir. I’m really loving this tobacco, I shouldn’t be so surprised though, it’s been around this long for a reason. Is there a better tobacco to be had for the price? If you like OTC's, I would recommend Sir Walter Raleigh, Sutliff Ready Rubbed Match and Granger if they are available in your area. Burley based like Half & Half and all very different flavor profiles.

Good Saturday morning all. Thanks to @jiminks and all the other folks here that have regularly sung the praises of this fine tobacco blend, I overcame my hesitancy to aromatic types and gave it a try. I'm speaking of course of the Edward G Robinson blend. I've started my day with it in my unfinished Savinelli 644, with a nice cup of coffee. For the record @LotusEater, I can't stop smoking it. I already have another tin on the way, and if I feel the same way after that one, I will be ordering by the tub.

Do have to say, yeah, EGR is an attractive blend. I'm into (or was, anyway! -laugh-) good lat mixtures, but I'm a big aro fan too. EGR has a distinctive taste that makes it a great blend. It doesn't have the blandishness of codger blends, but does have the same broad appeal a lot of them do.

Sutliff Cringle Flake 2020 in a Preben Holm IIs Volcano. The original (replacement) stem was an ugly yellow acrylic abomination, so I cut a new one from a blank that seemed more fitting.

Craig, not only are you Evil, you remembered I'd be here & would start crying at a PH! -laugh- Beautiful work on that stem!

Windjammer in a Colibri Coolway. This is reportly made by Barling; however, the stinger has an absolute Comoy vibe. Either way this is my second smoke and the draw is fantastic. It definitely has a tinkers damn vibe about it.
