You must be sitting on a good amount of Chenet's Cake. I have a few 1 year old tins in the deep cellar. Trying my best to wait it out as the blend notes suggest a decade for best results, but I think I'll probably pry one open way early to give it a shot.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.

Open one!

Nothing about these cellar series makes them unsmokable young. They are just marketed as having good aging potential due to cake or plug form :)

Plus, gotta have a reference point

*different Ben

** if you are able, I'd also recommend finding some aged on the secondary market, for another reference point

Cleaned a few pipes, and have a third of a bowl left of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave showed up, ate, and is snoozin' now. Haven't seen Abner the Eager in three days, but as snow and ice is still around, I figure he's home. Daisy the Feral Princess is by my side.
