I've passed the half way mark of the last of this sample of circa 1974-83 Capitansky/Captain Rum in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer billiard with a black ferrule and vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Finishing off the review of this Russian made blend.
Low Country Carolina Christmas in a Crown Jewels pot. Still enjoying this blend, so I'll have to resist not opening the second tin when I'm done with this one. Curious if anyone who has tried this blend, can recommend something similar?
Half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Abner the Eager came back to get warm and snooze.
Had to pay the "truck tax" and help my sister and her husband move a couple of things. Brought them my parent's old dining room table and then helped them haul their old one to the thrift store. They bought me breakfast as thanks and I got to spend some time with my 9-month old niece. But the job wasn't done yet; they had an old mattress they were giving to a friend, so I delivered it since it was on my way home. Talked with the friend and her husband for a bit and then realized I was just down the street from one of my favorite nature preserves in the area. Headed over there and enjoyed a very peaceful pipe of Granger in my 6002 while I watched the birds. They put on quite a show for me, and a blue heron even made an appearance! A great day.
Almost a third of the way through this bowl of G&H Extra Sweet Brown Bogie Twist in a smooth straight 1950s Kaywoodie Colt Dublin meer with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Reviewing this blend.
