A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Listening to Tales of the Texas Rangers from my radio collection.

Since 90% of my smoking in winter is during dog walks, I bought I’d share how we manage that when icy ground is covered in snow and the walking is a bit treacherous. The pipe is a late ‘50s Midico filled with a very tasty cherry blend of unknown origin. I finished it off after the walk with a shot of Glngoyne single malt, on ice, given the weather conditions.

Finished touching up pages, fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, cleaned some dishes, enjoyed some low calorie snacking, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a dark brown medium bend grain etched 1970s Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand with a black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Tomato the Brave is extra hyper. He's chasing anything and everything as he bats around various things in the kitchen, den, and hall, as well as invisible mice. It's a good thing that he can't see oxygen or he'd have a coronary chasing that, too.
