The Comoys Scottish Mix was decent. VERY light on the Latakia, if in fact it's in there. Pleasant, woody floral notes and no roughness or bite.
Just a small bowl though.

A couple of photos of me at the Battle of Nantwich re-enactment yesterday. I met 2 people I'd had a clay pipe with; one at the Siege of Bolsover in 2019 & another at Nottingham Pipe Show in 2022. I was disappointed when I saw smoke coming from one of the re-enactors mouths only to find he was smoking a roll-up (there is evidence for smoking tobacco rolled in paper back then) but I really wanted a clay pipe photo...
One of the musketeers lit my clay with a length of match cord (he wasn't carrying gunpowder at the time)!

Glad you enjoyed the day. BTW, I love your hat! Look good, King of Clay.
