Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Sutliff States of Virginia Limited Edition ’23 in a smooth, fumed top three quarter bend 1970s Peterson military mount meer with a nickel cap and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Despite a dozen salt and Everclear treatments, sanding out the carbon and tons of elbow grease, the Lakeland ghost is still present. Dunno what else to do since I don't smoke Lakelands these days.

It’s quite a pleasant day here for a change, had a bowl of GH Dark Shag in the 1912 Army mount Civic while walking WeeBay and am now finishing off some Steamworks in a Astley’s billiard that I started with my morning coffee. I’m moving on to GH Dark Plug now in the tiny Kaywoodie Drinkless. View attachment 283143
That Civic and the ‘woodie are very nice!!
