First time trying Koiki (小粋), a type of kiseru tobacco, in my smallest cob.

With the extremely fine cut, it turned out to be a 5-puff bowl rather than the 5-minute bowl I expected.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. That'll do it for me today.

Having some Directors Cut in an Il Ceppo from the 90's. I dont know what it is about this pipe but its in my top 3. Probably a combo of appearances, feel and smokability. I dont realistically think it smokes better than my other pipes but I like it. Its cold out again so Im in my office with window cracked.

I’ve always wanted to try Kiseru tobacco, I have the pipe but the tobacco isn’t available here unfortunately. What is the flavour like?

Morning everyone, I brought some Gold Block and University Flake yesterday from a online retailer and it arrived about half hour ago, much quicker than I expected. I have the Gold B in my 1966 Jeantet President and the University in a Kaywoodie Dublin and taking turns as I’m too impatient to try them one after another. Haven’t had university in about twenty years and never tried Gold Block til now.
