After taking a week off, I'm using this balmy 55 degree day as my comeback. OGS in a Stefano Santambrogio Rhodesian.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, Dark-eyed junco, California towhee, Spotted towhee, White-crowned sparrow, Oak titmouse, American crow, Western bluebird, Northern flicker, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, and Hairy woodpecker.

Golf tomorrow...gotta decide what to smoke. Sounds like a three pipe problem to me...

Some 2014 MacBaren Navy Flake in a Mauro Armellini bent billiard. I folded and stuffed this Flake, which is something I haven't done in years. There's something spicy about this blend with some age on it and folding it definitely amplified it.

Velvet in a Suffolk that appears a homage pipe to a Weber Shellbrooke.

This three quarter bent pipe has a water trap and solid nickel silver band. There are about 30 raised and hand carved panels on this, all perfectly done, and no fills or flaws I can see.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through this bowl of C&D Toscano Maestro Sinfonia in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem. Just about completed my reviews.

It’s an overcast and grey, dreary day. I thought I’d brighten things up and start things off the @JimInks way. Going to have Edward G. Robinson’s Pipe Blend (2021) in an EA Carey English Gentleman No. 345 The Natural Prima Magic Inch (with an obvious nod to Jim and his buddy, Basil Meadows) while I work on an illustration for a book that is based on interviews my late friend, Paul Nelson, did with Leonard Cohen and Lucinda Williams.

1792/Irish Flake in a Lee medium Pear. Of course, as soon as I started spraying the emerging Stinknet, the wind picked up. Oh well, the next tank refill I got my wind cap and carried on.
I do have a new bigger flag on hand but debating on installing halyard kit it would need, because the pole goes up and down depending on wind.

Passing the first third of this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Posted the C&D Toscano Maestro blends on this forum for those who are interested.
