Rouseco Golden Harvest Yellow in a miniature bent Buescher’s Famous Pipes Cob likely fifty or more years old.

There was a forum member who posted his Grandfather’s 1935 cob pipe was very small.

When Americans bought maybe a hundred million cob pipes a year, and smoked maybe a hundred times more pipe tobacco, there was the smallest size of cob designed for a cigarette size smoke.

It’s surprisingly good, but I have to be careful to not burn my nose.:)

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of C&D Toscano Maestro Allegro in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. I was going to do a set of walking reps, but the rain returned as I was getting ready to go. Oh well, I need to finish my reviewing.

Second of the two obligatory daily smokes in my (only) meerschaum . I kind of like having one; when I don't know which pipe to pick, I just figure I'll "work on" the meer. Tough chore; as Mark Twain once said about finding the energy to occasionally correct the course of the guy doing the rowing toward a distant island in Lake Tahoe, a lesser man would have rested.

Smoking a bowl of Dark Plug in a small meerschaum 'cutty' whilst I drink of a mug of Miso soup and check that all my chores are done for the month of January including paying the bills! I sometimes wish I was eighteen years old again with all my concerns revolving around getting my study work in on time to my lecturer and deciding which pub I would be frequenting that night. Remember in those days in the U.K you could smoke in the pub and sit by the fire and generally behave in a civilized manner.
