Year 2018 C&D Haunted Bookshop in an IMP Meerschaum. Probably has 150 or so bowls smoked in it. I love the bald spot. Also I have to ask to all who buy a new Meer, then post in WAYS with no pictures, Why? We want to be part of the coloring journey with you. View attachment 194039

Have you contemplated the reason for the “balled spot”?
Do you hold the pipe in your palm when smoking. Is there more material or mass on the forward heel of the bowl?
How is the color on the rest of the bowl?
I do enjoying seeing the many wonderful Meerschaum pipes and there transformations.

A third of the way through the last of this tin of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Have two more tins of EGR left, and then I'll go back to the EGR tubs.

Some Black and Beauty in my no name „Old Briar“ with the cheap nylon stem. No oil on this one just stripped of the dull thick varnish polished it on the wheel and put on the copper ring. First the briar was almost rosé it darkened quickly.

2019 Cringle Flake in the oversized Ehrlich Billiard with 14k gold band, love that these pipes were carved on the premise in the front window starting the process with a 100 yr old (back then it was 100) foot pedal powered lathe.

I love everything about this pipe.

Smoking now GH Balkan Mixture, in a Falcon with larger bowl and twisted stem. In fact (and pardon me for the off-topic sentence), I would gladly exchange this silver/red twisted stem with e.g. a straight, anthracite or black colored one...

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Hope the incoming rain waits until I do a second set of walks. Now, it's lunch time.

I love it. The canted Dublin is a small pipe. Maybe it’s related to a ladies pipe, or maybe to the diminished supplies of expensive tobacco and briar in European post war times. It’s a comfortable smoker anyways.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have a third of a bowl left of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Going to take the trash down to the street before it rains, and line up a couple things I need to do around here.
