Not sure if it’s your first meer or not but just beware that the first few smokes will be a bit muted until the bowl is saturated with tobacco oils.
First proper new meer! (I got a meer bowl for a Falcon a month or so ago.) somewhat wary about whatever 'new meer taste' might be, but i have to say, the Deception Pass was EXCELLENT in the meer and don't think I got milky or chalky anything.. but it was different--in a very good way. Maybe I did get a new meer thing and perhaps like @didimauw , new meer taste is something I gotta have? :)

Now smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Going to work in a couple of minutes. Decided to have a Canadian and Canadian-style smoke night while I work.

MB Dark Twist Roll Cake in the little clay. @halfdan two of the coins, and a pinch of stuff on top made a full bowl. If you want the blacksmith to light it you might need to hang around for a minute to make sure it’s going. Once lit, all good! Goes well with a sturdy Claret
