And while we wait on the Plum Pudding to dry, how can I have any pudding if I don't smoke my Briarworks Country Lawyer oriental blend? Loaded and ready to go is the dark green Vauen '21 Model 8181 slightly curved apple with oval shank and saddle stem, miele insert, and some shiny, chrome-but-not-silver metal on either side. For my preferences, the bit on this thing is exquisite.

After work bowl in the shop. Plum pudding bourbon barrel aged in my own creation.
Well done, both pipe and tobacco! Since you did the pipe, you'll know the answer to this one. What is the center part of the stem to shank ornamentation? I'm insanely picky about ornaments, because I want the wood to take center stage in a pipe where the wood grain is highly visible. I'm assuming unstained wood? What variety?

Thanks, and again, very nice work on the pipe.
