Enjoyed a two foot long pastrami subs, and a bunch of unsalted peanuts lunch. Desserts were a slice of pecan Danish Kringle, two oatmeal raisin and two chocolate cookies, and a big golden delicious apple. I'm still a tad hungry, too. Anyway, I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Abner the Eager decided to snooze on the lawn mower that our yard fella left here. That boy certainly knows his comfort level. He's so happy that he didn't come in to eat.

@gord , thank you for sharing that culinary info. I have eaten everything you mentioned and really miss it all, especially rabbit and bear tamales. Great info!
Most welcome! Should add that a 2 1/2 year old is not that big - if you dress it, bone it, skin it, and pack it out or (into a box if it was unlucky enough to be munching grass or foliage on the roadside) that's only about 35 pounds, or with the ribs and liver (best parts! bear liver is the besI you'll ever eat,) maybe 50. I could do the whole job roadside in about half an hour, and as prime time is just before dark, that works.

That's not a lot of meat for a year, and counting rabbits and store bought, one or at most two bear a year is not excessive. I usually took two if I was making sausage. So indiscriminate wildlife slaughter, it ain't.

Counting that, and the bountiful trout up here, which I mostly canned, I ate pretty well! All this was of course shared with Mom and Dad and my sister, too. Even the ubiquitus squawfish or suckers would be canned occasionally, as well - add a couple of drops of liquid hickory smoke to the process and they made a fine sandwich. All those bones just melted away. Guests would love them, and when they asked what fish it was, I'd lie, "rock cod".

About a third of a bowl left of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated slight bend black sandblasted Lorenzo Elba Imperia 8636 egg with an amber colored acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Abner the Eager got off the lawn mower chair to eat, and when he went back, he saw that Harry the Hairy had taken his warm spot. Abner's on another chair now, but he doesn't look happy about it. Almost sounds like a party game, doesn't it?

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Enjoyed a snack between smokes.
