Superbowl Lineup from Yesterday:

Ropp J05, Black Frigate (1st Quarter)
Ropp J16, Mad Fiddler (2nd Quarter)
Barfbag (not shown) half-time show
Falcon Bent (Home made English) (3rd Quarter)
McQueen Miniature Fable, Steamworks (4th Quarter)

All dedicated pipes, all great smokes. Great game, expected and desired outcome. Was in a room of disbelieving buddies, and I called the game from the start. Best coach, best running back in the league, and the most complete quarterback I've ever seen since Johnny Unitas. A deserving MVP.

Celebratory cigars completed the festivities, and picture framed in Eagle colors nnnn

Peterson's Irish Cask in the M. Elliott bent billiard of uncertain arborial origin, in between pruning an apple tree and removing self-seeded saplings from around the old schoolhouse on the Acton Scott Farm estate. Thought you might like to see it - built in 1866 for the children of the estate by Mrs Frances Acton at her own cost, years before education became mandatory. Some walked up to 5 miles each way to attend. Many went on to win scholarships at Ludlow Grammar School, then university and entered the various professions - enabled, thanks to Mrs Acton, to see horizons higher than a horse's arse all their working days. I think a lot of that great lady when having a smoke break on the estate. Lots more I could tell you about her but here ain't the place.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Cafe 645, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of ear 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Tomato the Brave showed up, ate, and spent a little time going between my lap, m'lady's lap, and our friend Teresa's lap, which is where he is now.
