That there is some straight up alchemy. How was it?

Pretty well, wasn't a big plan. I’ve tossed a little 1792 in with Glengarry before, the tonquin doesn’t clash with the Glengarry’s flavor.
I was paying with the leftovers from my workweek tins and I didn’t want to head out with a half a pipeful so a wad of DBE went in on top.

Walked trails with a buddy this morning and enjoyed some Burleys - London Blend from 2013 and House Reserve (Spring '22 edition). Smoked from my TSS Bermuda BBB from the 1930s and this unmarked sandblast that turned out to be made by Ian Fisher. Was a nice surprise finding that out after buying it from a bargain bin at a show last year

It’s quickly become a favorite, that’s for sure.
I hope they put out more of the Short Army pipes, I’d like to get a pot shape in a smaller pipe.
The stems on these are fantastic. The PPN article on them says this stem design may make it to other lines, that has me staying away from adding another new Pete until they do.

Yeah I sorely regret returning a smooth 102 back to SP.

Today is a 2020 tin of Wessex Brigade Sovereign Curly Cut in my old trusty meerschom from CAO.

I don't often like VaPers and rarely reach for a tin. But this is an excellent smoke. I always say to myself "self, let's sell all these Virginia and VaPers, you never smoke them!" And mornings like this remind me why I haven't.
