Speaking of the Mount Rushmore of pipes .... my "agonizing fantasy" would be to look through "What Are You Smoking, January 2024" plus "February 2024" at all pics of pipes with the arrangement that I could pick & have any 10 that I wanted. NOTE: Current owners (we who hold our pipes in trust until they pass on into the trust of those who follow us) would, of course, have to consent. WOW .... HOW could I ever choose just 10? But my "excitement barometer" has already hit hard on numerous ones. : )

I'm smoking Cornell and Diehl Winchester. A very straight forward blend of Red Virginia and unsweetened black Cavendish (Kentucky Green River Burley). Great all day smoke plus available in bulk.

Hi Folks! I've not smoked anything, not a Cigar nor Pipe, since September; unfortunately, in late September I contracted COVID-19, and although I had a mild case, and recovered well, I've had a persistent cough up til now. Anyhoo, time to get back to my contemplative and peaceful hobby....and tonight, my first pipe is a Savinelli Quandale filled with 1/2 bowl of Dan Tobacco Salty Dog, sliced and rubbed out, and well dried. A hot cocoa is my drink of choice tonight.

I've got a 63M in their Vario finish. Maybe I'm courting controversy here, but for everything connected with pipe admiration (looks, feel in hand, engineering, smoking satisfaction, etc), I think the Stanwell 63M absolutely HAS to be on the Mount Rushmore of pipes (!!!).
