More of that Semois Burley “La Brumeuse” in a a Satou. I’m really enjoying this tobacco. It is strong but not overwhelmingly so. If you like burley, I suspect you will like it.

Passing the first third of this bowl of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star Gourmet Blend, neat, is my drink.

Another keeper from the Lazar collection. This time a nice little sandblasted pot. What’s neat about this pipe is that it’s stamped ‘Old Port’ over what is clearly a late 50’s or 60’s era Bringham ‘Made in Canada’ stamp. I’ve reached out to DadsPipes and he confirmed. Lazar had several of these Old Port pipes, likely promotional pipes made by Bringham for the Old Port Tobacco Company out of Montreal. I reached out to Bringham but haven’t heard back. Anyway, keeping this and enjoying an inaugural smoke with some WCC Churchwarden.
