Thanks, yes it’s a Catalin/Bakelite stem. Redmanol was a trade name for Bakelite used by the Premier Briar co.

Broke in the new Svendborg with some WCC Churchwarden. I really like this pipe!
I acquired a sample of all the WCC flakes a while back and Churchwarden is the first of these I have tried.
It is a great tasting blend once it settles in. Be aware that there is a fair amount of nicotine in this so go slow.
