Second Peterson Pairing this morning in celebration of Peterson Pipe Smoking Day. Peterson's Standard Mixture in a Peterson Rusticated Short Bulldog (shape 150). I just love these Peterson Shorts! Trusty Rodgers of Sheffield pipe tool and vintage 1950's Nimrod Commander pipe lighter accompanying.
C&D Izmir Turkish in my English cob on a breezy but sunny day. It’s tasting a little sweeter than it usually does. I suspect I’m tasting some remnants of the Dunhill Nightcap I smoked in this pipe previously. No complaints!
To kick of IPSD, readying some made-in-Denmark MB Navy Flake, which I think of as eminently 'British' even if it might not be; to smoke in my made-in-China Canadian (with briar from I don't know where). Assorted tampers and pipe tools on hand are from Italy, Germany, and the noble but no-longer Czechoslovakia. With Columbian coffee in an American clay mug.
Just finished smoking year 2016 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
